Estate Planning Workshop
You Have an Estate Plan. But Is It Built for Your Wealth?
Most estate plans are designed to avoid probate and minimize taxes at death. But for families with significant wealth, that’s just the baseline – not the strategy.
The real cost of a “standard” estate plan reveals itself over decades: in unnecessary state taxes paid, asset protection gaps exposed, privacy surrendered, and multi-generational wealth eroded by structures that weren’t built to scale with your success.
We invite you to a private workshop with three specialists who architect estate strategies for ultra-high-net-worth families:
- Antony Joffe, Chairman, Sterling Trustees (South Dakota)
- David Loesser, CFP®, CPWA®, President, The Estate Planners Group
- Michael Sneeringer, Esq., Member, Brennan Manna & Diamond
Critical Questions We’ll Address:
- South Dakota vs. your current trust jurisdiction: Could relocating your trust eliminate state income taxes and extend your legacy in perpetuity?
- Trustee structure risks: When does a family member or regional bank trustee create exposure rather than protection?
- Freezing vs. exposing growth: Have you locked in today’s estate tax exemption or will future appreciation face a 40% federal tax?
- Privacy and asset protection: Is your estate plan publicly visible? What creditor risks remain unaddressed?
- Institutional alternatives: How do the ultra-wealthy access private markets within trust structures?
